I'm starting a 1/2 scale sculpture of the Na'vi Mountain Banshee Creature and will post updates if my progress here. This is my favourite of Pandora's animals and inspired me so much to make my own. I will be working with wet clay and hopefully add taxidermy eyes to my sculpt when done!

Not sure yet? I'm still gathering reference images to work from and have yet to figure out the full-scale dimensions of this creature. For the bust piece I may have at least half the neck included if not all. Even at 1/2 scale, it's still likely to be pretty big.  |
